Martin Higgins

Martin is a senior fees administrator who has been with Draycott Browne since 2012. After many years of experience in the area of criminal practice administration, he re-directed his efforts into the area of costs.

Martin is responsible for all costs related matters on behalf of the company. He enjoys a complete awareness of all claims procedures as set out within the company’s contract with the Legal Aid Agency. This extends to standard and non-standard fee billing in the investigations, proceedings, prison law and appeals categories.

Martin is also fully familiar with all costs related procedures in the private client arena and is conversant with all procedures relating to the claiming of costs from Central Funds.

Martin is often called upon to advise the Directors and Staff about developments within the costs field and is regularly approached by other professionals within the industry for his guidance relevant to practice administration.
